We are living through an unprecedented time of uncertainty. As we progress through we at Ideal Stairlifts continue to respond and adapt to the impact of COVID-19 (also known as Novel Coronavirus).

Ideal Stairlifts Aust Pty Ltd is continuing to follow the Government’s advice and take all precautionary measures. The health and wellbeing of our clients, employees is our absolute priority. We’d like you to be rest assured we are well-equipped as possible to minimise the risk to ourselves and our clients.

It is vital, however, that as we take on the many challenges of isolation, social distancing and this new way of living that we keep in mind that our homes, where we are spending more time than ever now, need to be as safe and comfortable as possible. In line with Government, we should not ignore the day to day health and lifestyle challenges, or health difficulties that may have existed before Covid 19.

A stairlift is one such consideration. If we are home more, we should consider access around the home a priority. The challenges of staying at home are great enough, but staying at home and being unable to access our bedrooms, bathrooms, or whatever lies on other levels of the home, in comfort and safety must be near unbearable.

Ideal Stairlifts are committed to continuing to offer our services throughout, and beyond, the current pandemic. If you, or a relative or friend, are finding difficulty using stairs, call us and we can discuss how to safely and efficiently overcome the problem.

A stairlift is something that does require us to visit your home initially for an assessment and measure up, and ultimately for the installation itself. Unfortunately we cannot supply stairlifts by mail order. But this does not mean leave it and put health at risk in other ways. We have considered and implemented measures to ensure that any visits we do make are safe.

We can provide a lot of advice and even quotes from photographs in the 1st instance, thus reducing the contact or visits required. In the event our people are required to visit your home – for installation, or assessment and measuring up, all of our staff are instructed in safe measures.

Various methods for a virtual survey, or video conference assessment appointment are available too. Our sales team will be delighted to discuss your requirements and have a look at the stairs via a video call on one of many platforms.

All staff carry hand sanitiser and disinfectant.

We will observe and maintain safe physical distancing at all times and request that our customers do too.

If required we carry suitable PPE such as face masks

Installed equipment is cleaned down after installation.

Tools and equipment are cleaned after each home visit.
