The Ideal Stairlifts Advantage

1. Delivery. While we always try to deliver as arranged, Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. The order  cannot be cancelled, nor are we liable for any damages if the delivery cannot be made as arranged. 

2. Payment. You must pay the full amount owing for the goods upon completion of installation. This will be  the total price less any deposit already paid. 

3. Buying Back Goods. We reserve the right not to buy-back goods, although on occasion this may be  possible. 

4. Deposits. A deposit will be taken to confirm an order. In the event of cancellation, we reserve the right to  recover any costs incurred. 

5. Cancellation. Your rights under the ACL notwithstanding, once production of a bespoke product has  commenced, the order cannot be cancelled 

6. Title. Goods remain the property of Ideal Stairlifts until you have paid for them in full. Until that time we  may recover the goods at any time. 

7. Warranty. The goods are supplied with a 2 year warranty in accordance with the terms and conditions  shown below 

8. ACL Guarantee. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian  Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for  any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or  replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

Terms and Conditions Of Warranty 

1. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).  You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably  foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail  to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Our warranty provides some  benefits which are additional to your rights under the ACL, however some of the benefits may overlap with  your ACL rights. 

2. These terms and conditions apply to our 2 year (24 month) warranty, and any other warranty as may be  agreed from time to time. 

3. ‘We/Us’ refers to Ideal Stairlifts and ‘You’ refers to the person or persons named on the Order Form.  Warranty applies to the standard 2 year warranty. 

4. The term of the warranty commences immediately upon completion of the installation of the stairlift. 

Benefits of the Warranty 

5. All costs covered including for normal wear and tear (except batteries). During the term of the warranty  we will cover all costs of call-outs, labour and parts, excluding batteries which are considered to be  consumables. 

6. Annual Service. During each year of the warranty term, we will inspect, lubricate and adjust the stairlift as  deemed necessary by our technician, and with due care and skill. The service will be carried out at a time  determined by us and pre-arranged with you. 

7. Priority Attention. Warranty customers will always be treated as a priority, and we always aim to attend a  stairlift breakdown within a maximum of 48 hours. 

8. Subject to exceptions in clause 9 where warranty may not apply, we agree to repair your stairlift unless we  cannot reasonably obtain the necessary parts, or we determine that the stairlift can be replaced for less  than the cost of repair, in which case we will, at our discretion, replace your stairlift free of charge with one  of similar quality 

Conditions 

9. We are not responsible for repairs to your stairlift arising from: misuse, abuse, neglect by the owner or any  third party, theft, fire, flood, or any costs arising from failure to follow the manufacturers instructions. 

10. We are not responsible for any costs incurred by us if we attend to the stairlift and no fault is found. In this  instance, we may charge a call-out fee. 

11. The Warranty only covers the stairlift while installed at the location agreed at the time of sale. We may, at  our discretion, transfer the warranty to any new owner as long we this is advised to us and agreed in  writing. If the stairlift is removed or reinstalled by anyone other than an authorised representative of Ideal  Stairlifts, the validity of the warranty may be affected. Any costs arising from relocation of the stairlift are  not included in the warranty.
