Why a curved stairlift?
A curved stairlift can be needed when your stairs have turns or landings in them.
It is not safe to use a straight stairlift when it means you have to get off the lift part way up the stairs because it goes around a corner.

The Curve stairlift’s slimline design and its tight fit around corners – amongst the tightest bends available – means that it will fit to most stairs.
How does it work?
Because the angle of the rail changes on corners, The Curve stairlift operates with a mechanical levelling system running on a twin-rail system, making sure your chair stays level at all times and assuring superb reliability and a smooth ride
A mechanical levelling system, combined with high power, maintenance free power packs means that in the event of a mains power outage you will not be left with flat batteries and a costly technicians call-out like some other stairlifts.

Of course, your Curve stairlift can be configured to your particular requirements with a full range of options. Choose the comfort and flexibility of the fully adjustable ERGO seat’s powered options including motorised swivel seat and motorised footplate lifter.
Our heavy duty curved stairlift will carry up to 160kg, one of the few curved stairlifts specifically designed to accommodate larger users in complete comfort and safety.
